Maths Academic Mentor | Barking & Dagenham

Are you a Maths Graduate from a top UK University ready to kick-start your career in Education?

At Ribbons & Reeves, we have an opportunity for you! An Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ school in Barking & Dagenham who are looking for Graduates who are passionate about Maths to take on Academic Mentor roles to inspire their students and encourage high attainment. Maths Academic Mentors will provide 1:1, and small group support across GCSE and A Level Maths Curriculum for those who are struggling.

Maths Academic Mentor | Barking & Dagenham

  • £90-£100 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) | Paid weekly via PAYE
  • September start, full time, term-time only
  • Work with students who need help with their GCSE exam prep
  • High-achieving school with ambitious students who are eager to learn.
  • Gain experience with students with option for school-based teacher training
  • Work on increasing school attainment


As a Maths Academic Mentor, you can provide invaluable guidance during the students GCSE and A Level exam revision. This role requires someone who has previous child centred experience and is ready to work with SEN children. As a Maths Academic Mentor you will need to have aspirations for your career in Education.
