A well-established primary school is urgently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 student with challenging behaviour (significantly improved this year).
1:1 Teaching Assistant – Benefits:
- Competitive daily rate of £96-£105 on a PAYE contract.
- Immediate start in a supportive school environment.
- Flexible, part-time role – Wednesdays and Fridays.
1:1 Teaching Assistant – Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for a student in class and during breakout sessions.
- Work calmly and confidently to encourage positive behaviour and learning progress.
- Assist the wider class when required, ensuring a smooth learning environment.
1:1 Teaching Assistant – Requirements:
- Confidence, resilience, and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Positive Handling or RPI training is a bonus but not essential.
- A calm and proactive approach to supporting challenging behaviours.
