Are you a Secondary Computer Science Early Career Teacher looking to secure a role in a supportive Southwark school?

We are looking for a Computer Science ECT who can:

Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

Develop pupils’ understanding of programming, algorithms and computational thinking

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress

Bring enthusiasm for technology and a passion for teaching Computer Science
As a Computer Science ECT in this role, you will:

Work full-time in a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school

Earn MPS1–MPS2, in line with experience
-
Receive high-quality ECT mentoring and a structured induction programme
-
Develop subject knowledge and classroom practice alongside experienced specialists
To apply for this Computer Science ECT position, you will need to:

Hold (or be on track to achieve) QTS in Secondary Computer Science

Have a strong subject knowledge and understanding of the GCSE curriculum

Be committed to inclusive practice and high standards of teaching and learning
