An exceptional Secondary & Sixth Form school in Cambridge, graded Outstanding in its most recent Ofsted, is seeking to appoint a Mathematics Teacher for a September 2026 start. This school is recognised for its strong academic culture, exceptionally calm behaviour environment, and a rigorous, knowledge-rich curriculum. Mathematics is a flagship subject, with consistently strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes. Pupils are ambitious and engaged, and teaching is underpinned by evidence-informed practice, including explicit instruction and regular retrieval.
 
This Secondary & Sixth Form Teaching Opportunity is a Permanent Mathematics Teacher role within a high-performing department.

  • A Mathematics Teacher with UK QTS or completing a UK-recognised training route
  • A strong academic profile, ideally a 2:1 degree or higher in Mathematics or related field
  • Experience teaching within a UK secondary school environment
  • Evidence of delivering structured lessons and securing measurable outcomes
  • Confidence operating within clear and consistent behaviour systems
  • Full right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available

 
Salary:  MPS £40,317 to £52,300, UPS up to £62,496, with potential TLR opportunities for experienced Mathematics Teachers
