As Head of Art, Design and Technology, you will:
- Lead and develop a cohesive Art, Design and Technology curriculum across KS3–KS5
- Drive attainment and progress, building on already strong outcomes
- Manage and support a team of specialist teachers and technicians
- Ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all disciplines within Art, Design and Technology
- Promote enrichment opportunities, including exhibitions and partnerships
The ideal Head of Art, Design and Technology will have:
- QTS and a strong academic background in a relevant subject
- Proven track record of teaching Art, Design and Technology to a high standard
- Previous middle leadership experience or readiness to step into a Head of Art, Design and Technology role
- Ability to lead on curriculum design and departmental strategy
- Commitment to inclusion, particularly supporting pupils with SEND and EHCPs
