Secondary Supply Teacher – Brent – Immediate Start

Are you a confident Secondary Supply Teacher looking for flexible classroom work in Brent?

No formal teaching qualification or QTS is required, but previous classroom experience and strong behaviour management skills are highly desirable.

• £106.47 per day PAYE, with immediate starts available
• Flexible daily cover, short-term and long-term opportunities across Brent secondary schools
• Full-time and part-time availability considered, depending on school requirements
• Ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates and aspiring teachers looking to develop classroom experience

Secondary Supply Teacher | The Role

• Supervise KS3 and KS4 classes, deliver pre-planned work and ensure pupils remain focused during teacher absences
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently, setting clear boundaries and following school behaviour policies
• Adapt to different subjects and year groups, maintaining a structured and productive learning environment

Secondary Supply Teacher | Requirements

• Strong behaviour management skills and confidence leading a classroom independently
• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Tutor or Unqualified Teacher is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, resilience and the ability to manage challenging classroom situations calmly
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential
• Reliable, professional and able to commute to secondary schools across Brent
