Reception Teacher sought for a warm, inclusive primary school in Wandsworth for a September 2025 start.
This Reception Teacher opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about Early Years education. As a Reception Teacher, you’ll help shape the crucial first year of school for young learners, supporting their early communication, physical development, and social skills. The school has a strong EYFS team and uses a well-balanced mix of play-based and structured approaches to deliver the Early Years Framework effectively.
The role is open to experienced EYFS teachers and ECTs with relevant placements. Ideal candidates will hold a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies or Education with QTS, or have completed a PGCE (Early Years or Primary).
Reception Teacher – Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports child-led learning
- Work closely with support staff and parents to track pupil progress
- Maintain a high-quality learning environment indoors and outdoors
What We’re Looking For:
- UK QTS
- Degree in Early Childhood Studies, Primary Education, or a related field with QTS
- Passion for the Early Years Foundation Stage and child-centred learning
- Skilled in phonics, early numeracy, and developmental assessment
