Geography Teacher – Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography Teacher lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan, prepare and assess effectively in line with the national curriculum

  • Support a 12-person Humanities team with shared resources and planning

  • Drive student progress and attainment in Geography Teacher lessons

  • Contribute proactively to behaviour management and SEND support

  • Communicate confidently with parents and carers

  • Work collaboratively to support curriculum development and enrichment

  • Bring creativity, flexibility and adaptability to every classroom situation

  • Play a proactive role in school life with a desire to progress into middle and senior leadership

Geography Teacher – Person Specification:

  • 1:1 Geography degree from a top 20 UK university

  • QTS with experience in a school setting

  • Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership

  • Confident in supporting pupils with SEND

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A proactive and creative attitude towards teaching and learning
