Year 2 Teacher | Richmond | September 2025 Start

Are you a creative Year 2 Teacher ready to make learning magical?

A warm and welcoming primary school in Richmond is seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join their KS1 team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Year 2 Teacher who loves working with younger learners and building solid foundations in reading, writing, and maths. Whether you’re a newly qualified Year 2 Teacher or bring several years of experience, you’ll be supported by a friendly leadership team and excellent TA support.

As a Year 2 Teacher, you’ll take full ownership of a well-behaved and engaged class. You’ll use a mixture of structured and creative approaches to help your pupils progress and prepare for KS2.

Year 2 Teacher – Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Track pupil progress and work closely with parents and SLT
• Use phonics and targeted interventions to raise attainment
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs and themed days

Person Specification:

• QTS and a Primary Education-related degree
• Experience in or strong understanding of KS1 and SATs preparation
• Committed, organised and nurturing approach to teaching
