Role: Physics Graduate – Academic Mentor
Location: Walthamstow, London
Contract: Full-time, September Start 1-year contract (extension for Teacher Teaching possible)
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physics graduate to support students across Key Stages 3 to 5. This is the perfect stepping stone for those considering a career in teaching or teacher training programme in the near future.
Physics Graduate | You will:
- Work closely with students to build confidence in Physics.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and interactive lessons.
- Provide one-to-one or small group intervention sessions.
- Support practical work in labs and help maintain equipment.
- Gain classroom experience and mentoring from experienced teachers.
Physics Graduate | About You:
- A 2:1 or above in Physics (or related discipline)
- Passionate about science and education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
- Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
