Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444 per week (PAYE)

A thriving secondary school in Richmond is looking for an Art Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic Visual Arts team in September. This Art Graduate Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone looking to build experience before pursuing a PGCE or a career in art education or therapy.
As an Art Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll support students from KS3 to KS5 in a range of media, including painting, sculpture and digital design. You’ll assist in preparing materials, supporting in-class work, and helping to organise student exhibitions.
Art Graduate Teaching Assistant – Key Duties:
- Support students in developing practical skills and creative ideas
- Help prepare and maintain materials, displays and studio spaces
- Lead small group workshops and provide individual feedback
- Assist with planning and setting up end-of-term exhibitions
We’re looking for:
- A recent Art graduate with a 2:1 or above
- Someone creative, organised and full of ideas
- A team player with great communication skills
- Full-time availability from September 2025
