EYFS Assistant | September Start | East London

Role: EYFS Assistant

Location: East London

Salary: £420-£450 PW

Contract: 1-Year, full-time, Starting September (potential to extend into teacher training)

The Role | EYFS Assistant

• Supporting children in the classroom and during outdoor learning, ensuring they feel safe, included and engaged.
• Working one-to-one or with small groups, including children with autism, ADHD or other additional needs.
• Encouraging curiosity, creativity and independence through play-based learning.
• Assisting with behaviour, social development and pastoral care.
• Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery, observations, and record keeping.
• Helping to prepare, organise and tidy learning spaces and materials.
• Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families and staff.

The Requirements | EYFS Assistant

• Experience working with young children (nursery or EYFS preferred).
• A calm, kind and flexible approach with great communication skills.
• Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• A team player who’s ready to get stuck in – from messy play to story time.
• An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.

Bonus if you have | EYFS Assistant:

• • Experience supporting children with SEND
  • First aid or safeguarding training
