Key responsibilities of the Aspiring Children's Psychologist:

  • Deliver targeted interventions to pupils with SEND or SEMH needs

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting emotional and academic progress

  • Apply behaviour strategies with confidence and consistency

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress

  • Be proactive and flexible in adapting to classroom and pupil needs

  • Lead sessions that boost social, emotional, and academic development

  • Collaborate with teaching and support staff across a large school setting

  • Maintain a focus on outcomes, progress, and following the curriculum

Who we are looking for:

  • A 1:1 Oxbridge graduate with a relevant degree (e.g. Psychology, Education)

  • A confident and compassionate Aspiring Children's Psychologist

  • Prior experience working with children, ideally in a school setting

  • A strong team player with creative and adaptive thinking

  • A genuine interest in progressing into educational psychology or therapy

  • A resilient communicator with a focus on child development and wellbeing
