Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444 per week (PAYE)

Are you a science graduate looking to build classroom experience before teacher training?
A welcoming secondary school in Hounslow is looking for a Graduate Science Tutor to join their support team in September 2025. This Graduate Science Tutor role is ideal for someone who enjoys breaking down tricky ideas and helping young people succeed in science.
As a Graduate Science Tutor, you will support pupils in KS3 and KS4 science lessons, run revision groups, and provide targeted help to those who are falling behind. You will work closely with the school’s Science Department and gain valuable insight into teaching and learning strategies.
This Graduate Science Tutor role is perfect for aspiring science teachers or those looking to pursue a career in STEM education.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils in science lessons
- Running revision or catch-up groups
- Explaining key concepts clearly and simply
- Encouraging curiosity and confidence in science
We’re looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in a science-related Bachelor’s degree from a UK university
- A patient and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and subject knowledge
- A full-time commitment for the academic year
