Intervention Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

Lead focused intervention sessions with high-attaining pupils

Deliver academic support to small groups, with a focus on progress and attainment

Work closely with SEND pupils, including those with Autism

Communicate effectively with staff and parents to support pupil development

Help maintain high standards of behaviour within the classroom

Follow and enhance curriculum content through creative support

Assist in monitoring pupil progress and adapting strategies accordingly

Play a key role within a collaborative and high-achieving team

Provide tailored academic and emotional support to pupils
Intervention Assistant – Candidate Requirements:

1:1 Degree from a top 20 UK University

Confident working with behaviour management strategies

Supportive and proactive, especially when working with SEND pupils

Flexible, creative, and adaptive approach to classroom challenges

Previous experience supporting pupils with Autism is essential

Clear desire to pursue teacher training in the near future
