First-Class English Graduate – Responsibilities:

  • Lead small intervention groups of high-attaining students in English

  • Support the English Department in raising attainment and progress

  • Assist pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to follow and enhance curriculum delivery

  • Contribute to classroom behaviour management strategies

  • Support pupils with targeted academic interventions

  • Take a proactive role in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment

  • Deliver academic support tailored to students' individual needs

 

First-Class English Graduate – Candidate Requirements:

  • 1:1 English Degree from a top 20 UK University

  • Strong classroom presence and confidence with behaviour management

  • Previous experience supporting SEND or Autism (desirable)

  • Team player with strong communication skills

  • Desire to pursue a career in education or teacher training

  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to support students' progress
