Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is searching for a Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This Primary Teaching Assistant role is perfect for a graduate hoping to pursue a career in primary teaching, speech and language therapy or educational psychology.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and school leaders to deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions, support classroom routines, and ensure that all children are engaged in their learning. The school is particularly looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant who is confident, proactive, and committed to supporting all learners, including those with SEND.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with small group and 1:1 academic interventions
• Helping with classroom organisation and lesson preparation
• Assisting pupils with additional needs including EAL and SEND
• Supporting playtime and lunchtime routines
• Promoting inclusive learning and tracking pupil progress

We’re looking for:

• A 2:1 or above in Education, Psychology or a related subject
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to the full academic year

Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees, even with a UK Master’s. Sponsorship is not available, so applicants must have UK citizenship or the right to work via settled status.
