ASC Behaviour Mentor – Psychology Graduate Opportunity
School: Hasmonean High School for Boys
Location: Hendon, North London (NW4 1NA)
Pay: £107.59 per day PAYE (including holiday pay)
Contract: Full-time, term-time only | Start date: September 2025
Hasmonean High School for Boys is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ASC Behaviour Mentor to support students aged 13–18 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and behavioural needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate, particularly a First Class Psychology Graduate, to gain meaningful experience in a high-achieving, supportive school environment.
As an ASC Behaviour Mentor, you’ll play a key role in helping students with ASC access learning, build confidence, and regulate their emotions. You’ll work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and pastoral team to deliver both in-class and 1:1 behavioural support.
Key responsibilities of the ASC Behaviour Mentor include:

Providing consistent, tailored support to students with ASC

Supporting classroom behaviour and routines

Running focused 1:1 or small group interventions

Helping pupils build social, emotional and communication skills

Working collaboratively with staff and other ASC Behaviour Mentors
This role is ideal for a First Class Psychology Graduate who is:

Passionate about behaviour, mental health, and neurodiversity

Calm, empathetic, and confident in challenging situations

Interested in progressing into psychology, education or SEN work

Able to build strong relationships and work closely within a team of ASC Behaviour Mentors
