Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Hounslow is searching for a Behaviour Support Mentor to support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This Behaviour Support Mentor role is ideal for graduates considering a future in mental health, education or youth work.
As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will work with targeted pupils to build trust, encourage emotional regulation, and promote positive behaviour across the school day. The successful Behaviour Support Mentor will play a vital role in both the classroom and in small group interventions.
Key responsibilities:
- Mentoring pupils with behaviour or SEMH needs
- Supporting behaviour management strategies in class
- Leading restorative conversations and wellbeing activities
- Liaising with the pastoral and safeguarding teams
- Acting as a positive role model
We’re looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in Criminology, Psychology, or a related degree
- An interest in SEMH, youth work or mental health
- Strong communication and resilience
- Commitment for the full academic year
Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees, even with a UK Master’s. Sponsorship is not available, so applicants must have UK citizenship or the right to work via settled status.
