SEND Learning Support Assistant – West London – September 2025 Start

We are seeking a passionate and resilient SEND Learning Support Assistant for a full-time position starting this September in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist school that supports students aged 11–19 with Autism, ADHD, and associated behavioural needs. The school offers a therapeutic and nurturing approach to learning, with strong pastoral support and a personalised curriculum.

Responsibilities of a SEND Learning Support Assistant:

  • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups within a SEND setting

  • Delivering tailored intervention sessions to meet individual needs

  • Building strong, consistent relationships with your tutor group

  • Encouraging emotional regulation and developing social skills

  • Supporting students with ASC, ADHD, SEMH and other neurodiverse needs

  • Promoting a safe, inclusive and calm learning environment

Ideal SEND Learning Support Assistant profile:

  • Graduate with a background in Psychology or Education (preferred but not essential)

  • Resilient, compassionate and enthusiastic about supporting SEND students

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • Previous experience supporting young people with additional needs (desirable)

  • Available full-time from 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday
