Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

An inclusive primary school in Hounslow is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant. This Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant role is perfect for someone considering a future in teaching or child psychology.

As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1, working with children who need extra help with phonics, reading, and learning routines. You will work with experienced teachers who will support your development.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils in Early Years and Key Stage 1
• Leading phonics and early reading sessions
• Offering 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting with classroom routines and preparation
• Building strong relationships with pupils and staff

We’re looking for:

• A 2:1 or above in any degree subject
• A genuine passion for education and child development
• Previous experience with children (paid or voluntary)
• Commitment to the full academic year

Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees, even with a UK Master’s. Sponsorship is not available, so applicants must have UK citizenship or the right to work via settled status.
