As an Autism Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with Autism and additional learning needs

  • Assist in classroom activities, ensuring full access to the curriculum

  • Help implement behaviour strategies and support emotional regulation

  • Build strong working relationships with students, teachers and families

  • Contribute to a positive and structured learning environment

  • Work collaboratively to track progress and help meet learning goals

  • Adapt resources creatively to suit the needs of individual pupils

  • Develop the confidence to handle challenging behaviour with calm authority

 

This Autism Learning Support Assistant role is ideal for a graduate with a 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a Top 20 UK University. Prior experience working with SEND students is essential, along with a genuine interest in psychology or education.
