We are seeking a motivated Speech & Language Graduate to join a highly regarded Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Sixth Form in Havering. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment with a strong focus on behaviour management and high expectations.

Key responsibilities for the Speech & Language Graduate:

  • Provide 1:1 speech and language support to students within a large Sixth Form

  • Confidently manage behaviour to create a positive learning environment

  • Use creative and proactive strategies to support student progress

  • Communicate effectively with parents and teaching staff to ensure student attainment

  • Follow curriculum guidelines whilst focusing on individual student needs

  • Support students to achieve progress in speech, language, and communication skills

  • Work as a flexible and adaptable team player

Essential skills and experience:

  • MUST hold a 1:1 or 2:1 degree in Speech & Language or a related field from a top 20 UK university

  • Confident in behaviour management and working with young people

  • Strong communication skills for liaising with parents and staff

  • Previous experience supporting students, preferably on a 1:1 basis

  • Proactive, creative, and committed to student progress
