Sixth Form Sports Tutor | Immediate Start | Hammersmith & Fulham

We are working with a fantastic secondary school and Sixth Form in Hammersmith & Fulham to appoint a dedicated Sixth Form Sports Tutor for an immediate start. This is a brilliant opportunity to combine academic delivery with pastoral support, helping students build both sporting expertise and essential life skills.

As a Sixth Form Sports Tutor, you will play a key role in supporting students through their BTEC Sport qualifications, guiding them academically while encouraging teamwork, resilience, and ambition. You’ll also assist students as they progress towards higher education, apprenticeships, or careers in sport, fitness, and beyond.

Sixth Form Sports Tutor | Role Profile

• Full-time position within a thriving Sixth Form

• Starting immediately

• Delivering and supporting BTEC Sport at Levels 1, 2 and 3

• Supporting students academically and pastorally

• £24,000 - £28,000 annual salary, dependent on experience

Sixth Form Sports Tutor | Role Specification

• Degree-level qualification in Sport Science, Physical Education, or a related subject

• Knowledge of BTEC Sport curriculum (Levels 1–3)

• Experience teaching, tutoring, or coaching young people (preferred but not essential)

• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners

• Commitment to helping students succeed both in their studies and personal development
