Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444 per week (PAYE)

A large primary school in West London is recruiting a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 child with an EHCP and ASC diagnosis. This role is ideal for graduates interested in careers in educational psychology, SEND teaching, or speech and language therapy.
About the School:
- Community primary school for ages 3–11
- Large 3-and 4-form entry, split across two sites (EYFS/KS1 and KS2)
- Enhanced provision space for pupils with Spatial Communication Needs and ASC
- High proportion of pupils with EAL and above-average proportion with SEND
- Strong academic outcomes, consistently above national averages
- Values: confidence, respect, perseverance, compassion, friendship
- Offers a wide range of clubs, themed days, and community events
The Role:
- 1:1 support for a Year 2 child with an EHCP and ASC diagnosis
- Based within the school’s enhanced provision space
- Child is energetic and active (no violence)

- Works well with both male and female staff
- No attachment issues

Interview Process:
- Trial session working alongside the child for either a morning or afternoon
- One-stage process depending on feedback
We’re looking for:
- A graduate with a UK degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Ability to work consistently and positively with a young child
- An Enhanced DBS
