Autism Support Assistant – Ealing – September 2025

Are you a compassionate Autism Support Assistant ready to make a meaningful impact in a specialist education setting? This role offers the chance to support students aged 11–19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and behavioural needs in a nurturing and therapy-informed environment.

Autism Support Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions for students with ASC

  • Foster communication, emotional regulation, and social engagement

  • Support an assigned tutor group daily, building rapport and trust

  • Work closely with SEN teachers, therapists, and senior staff

  • Contribute to a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment

  • Encourage independence and progress through tailored support

Autism Support Assistant Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children/young people with Autism and/or neurodiverse needs

  • A proactive, compassionate and resilient attitude

  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow structured strategies

  • Understanding of sensory processing and emotional regulation techniques

  • Background in psychology, education or youth work (advantageous but not essential)
