Autism Support Assistant – Ealing – September 2025
Are you a compassionate Autism Support Assistant ready to make a meaningful impact in a specialist education setting? This role offers the chance to support students aged 11–19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and behavioural needs in a nurturing and therapy-informed environment.

Autism Support Assistant Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions for students with ASC
-
Foster communication, emotional regulation, and social engagement
-
Support an assigned tutor group daily, building rapport and trust

Work closely with SEN teachers, therapists, and senior staff
-
Contribute to a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment
-
Encourage independence and progress through tailored support
Autism Support Assistant Requirements:

Experience supporting children/young people with Autism and/or neurodiverse needs

A proactive, compassionate and resilient attitude
-
Strong communication skills and ability to follow structured strategies
-
Understanding of sensory processing and emotional regulation techniques
-
Background in psychology, education or youth work (advantageous but not essential)
