Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: October 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: Minimum £444.00 per week

A specialist college in West London is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join their team supporting students aged 19–25 with a range of needs including autism, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and moderate to profound learning difficulties. The Role:

  • Support students aged 19–25 with a wide range of SEND needs
  • Provide personal care, including feeding and toileting, where required
  • Assist with classroom learning, vocational tasks, and life skills activities
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver engaging sessions
  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

 

We’re looking for:

  • Ideally, a candidate with a Level 2/3 qualification or previous classroom/SEN experience (training can be provided)
  • A calm, patient, and resilient individual
  • Someone physically fit and willing to support personal care needs
  • Strong teamwork skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people with SEND
  • An Enhanced DBS
