Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

Are you a Maths graduate looking to work as a Maths Graduate Tutor in a secondary school?
A school in Richmond is looking to appoint a Maths Graduate Tutor from September. This Maths Graduate Tutor role is an excellent opportunity for graduates who want to gain classroom experience before applying for teacher training.
As a Maths Graduate Tutor, you will support students across KS3 and KS4 with their numeracy skills and preparation for GCSE exams. You will work with small groups, provide one-to-one tuition, and help teachers with planning resources. This Maths Graduate Tutor role will give you an insight into how maths is taught effectively and how teachers track and support progress.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils during maths lessons
- Running small intervention groups focused on numeracy
- Supporting students preparing for GCSE exams
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and resources
- Tracking and recording student progress
We’re looking for:
- A UK degree at 2:1 or above in Maths or a related subject
- Strong numeracy skills and clear communication
- An interest in education and supporting young people
- Commitment to the full academic year
Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. Overseas degrees, even with a UK Master’s, cannot be considered. Applicants must also have UK citizenship or the right to work.
