Educational Studies Graduate – Richmond – November 2025 Start
Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: November 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: Minimum £444 per week (PAYE)

Are you an Educational Studies Graduate looking for your first practical experience in a school environment?
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working with pupils and supporting their learning and development. You will work alongside teaching staff to help pupils engage with lessons and make measurable progress.
The role offers valuable insight into classroom practice, behaviour management, and educational strategies. It is ideal for graduates interested in pursuing a career in teaching, education policy, or other school-based roles.
We are looking for recent graduates with a degree in Educational Studies or a related subject who are keen to support children and learn more about how schools operate. You will provide both small group and 1:1 support, helping pupils build confidence, independence, and essential learning skills.
The Role:
- Work 1:1 and in small groups supporting learning activities
- Assist with lesson plans, classroom tasks, and individual learning objectives
- Encourage confidence, independence, and communication skills
- Support classroom staff in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Hours: 08:30–15:30 with a 30-minute break
We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2:1 degree in Educational Studies or a related subject
- Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about supporting pupils
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Some experience with children or young people is helpful but not essential
- Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one
