Loughborough University Graduate – Richmond – November 2025 Start

 

Location: Richmond, South West London
Contract: November 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: Minimum £444 per week (PAYE)

Are you a sports-focused graduate from Loughborough University looking to gain practical experience supporting children in schools?

 

This Loughborough University Graduate role in Richmond offers an excellent opportunity to work with pupils who need extra help to thrive both academically and socially. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils build confidence, independence, and engagement in their learning. You may also support physical education or wellbeing activities, utilising your sports knowledge to inspire and motivate children.

 

Working closely with teachers and SEN specialists, you will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will help pupils access learning, develop communication and teamwork skills, and encourage emotional growth and resilience. This role is ideal for proactive, patient graduates who want to combine their love of sport with supporting children’s learning.

 

The Role:

  • Support pupils with SEND or additional learning needs
  • Assist with classroom and physical education activities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to encourage confidence and independence
  • Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (08:30–15:30, term-time only)

 

We’re Looking For:

  • Degree from Loughborough University, ideally sports, exercise science, or related field (minimum 2:1)
  • Empathetic, adaptable, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not essential
