SEN Tutor | Bexley
Location: Bexley
Contract: November 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Are you a graduate looking to gain experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs in core subjects?
A well-regarded secondary school in Bexley is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide personalised academic support in English, Maths, and Science for students with additional learning needs.
As a SEN Tutor, you’ll work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum, consolidate learning, and achieve their academic potential. You will also assist teachers in delivering interventions tailored to individual SEN requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering 1:1 and small group tutoring in core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
- Supporting students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and SEMH needs
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning, resources, and progress tracking
- Helping pupils develop study skills, confidence, and engagement in learning
This SEN Tutor role is ideal for graduates looking to build experience in education, SEN support, or related career paths such as teaching or educational psychology.
We’re looking for:
- A graduate with a 2:1 or First-Class degree (any subject considered)
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (voluntary or paid)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment from November 2025 to July 2026
