Role: Maths Tutor
Location: Southwark, South London
Pay: £444 – £513 per week (inclusive of holiday pay)
Contract: Full-time, January start, 1-year contract (extension possible)
Visa: No visa sponsorship
This Maths Tutor role is well suited to a graduate considering a future in teaching or education-related work.
Maths Tutor | The Role:
- Supporting GCSE and A-Level students with maths through one-to-one and small group sessions.
- Helping pupils improve their understanding of key topics such as algebra, geometry and problem-solving.
- Reinforcing classroom learning and building confidence in numeracy skills.
- Working alongside maths teachers to support lesson delivery and student progress.
- Tracking pupil development and adjusting support where needed.
Maths Tutor | Person Specification:
- A 1:1 or 2:1 degree in Maths or a related subject.
- A solid understanding of the GCSE and A-Level maths curriculum.
- Clear communication skills and a patient approach to learning.
- A genuine interest in supporting young people academically.
