A secondary school in the Borough of Bromley is seeking to appoint a Head of Mathematics from September 2026.

This is a permanent leadership role for an experienced Maths Teacher or current Head of Department with a strong track record of improving outcomes. The successful candidate will lead the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and achievement across Key Stages 3–5.

 

Head of Mathematics – The Role

  • Permanent position starting September 2026

  • Lead and manage the Mathematics department

  • Drive improvement in outcomes at KS4 and KS5

  • Oversee curriculum planning and assessment across all year groups

  • Line manage and support members of the Maths team

  • Monitor teaching quality and provide clear feedback
