Spanish Teacher – Greenwich – April 2026

 

We are seeking a confident and adaptable Spanish Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school in Greenwich. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3–5, helping students develop their language skills and cultural understanding while preparing for GCSEs and post-16 pathways.

Spanish Teacher - Key Details

Position: Spanish Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Start Date: April 2026

Working Pattern: Term-time only

Spanish Teacher - The Role

As a Spanish Teacher, you will:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3–5 that develop students’ language skills and intercultural understanding
  • Support students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, including those with SEMH, ASD, and behavioural needs
  • Prepare students for GCSE assessments and guide progress for post-16 study
  • Lead enrichment opportunities, including language workshops, cultural events, and collaborative projects
  • Work closely with colleagues and parents to support students’ academic and personal progress
  • Encourage students at risk of disengagement to remain motivated and reach their potential

 

Spanish Teacher - Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Spanish or a related subject
  • Teaching experience, ideally including SEMH or specialist support
  • Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
