Salary: £34,514 – £51,179 (MPS/UPS – Outer London)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Teach a broad curriculum including world religions, ethics, and philosophy (KS5 available for suitable candidates)

Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and respect for diverse perspectives

Assess and monitor student progress effectively

Contribute to whole-school ethos and enrichment opportunities
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject

Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for RE

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Commitment to promoting inclusivity and respect
Desirable

Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Religious Studies

Ability to contribute to PSHE or Citizenship

Interest in leading extracurricular activities such as debate or philosophy clubs
