About the Opportunity
A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Lambeth is working in partnership with a specialist education recruitment agency to appoint a talented Computing Teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner to join a supportive school with a strong focus on innovation and digital learning.
The Role
As a Computing Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching Computing, including Computer Science and digital literacy
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Supporting students to develop programming and problem-solving skills
- Monitoring progress and supporting students to achieve strong outcomes
- Contributing to curriculum development within the department
- Supporting extracurricular activities such as coding clubs or STEM initiatives

The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
- Has a degree in Computing, Computer Science or a related subject
- Has strong subject knowledge (e.g. programming, algorithms, data representation)
- Is passionate about teaching and learning
- Can inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
