About the Opportunity

A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Lambeth is working in partnership with a specialist education recruitment agency to appoint a knowledgeable and engaging Politics Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Politics Teacher or a teacher of Humanities looking to specialise in Politics at KS5.

The Role

As a Politics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons, primarily at Key Stage 5, with potential KS4 Humanities teaching depending on the timetable.

This Politics Teacher role includes:

  • Teaching A-Level Politics (e.g. UK Government, US Politics, political ideologies)
  • Encouraging critical thinking, debate and analysis
  • Preparing students for A-Level examinations with strong outcomes
  • Contributing to curriculum planning and development
  • Supporting enrichment such as debate clubs, trips or guest speakers

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a Politics Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
