- Hold British QTS awarded through a UK-accredited initial teacher training programme
- Graduated with a 2:1 or above in a Science discipline from a reputable university, ideally Russell Group
- Can demonstrate solid classroom experience within a UK secondary school setting through placements or a substantive teaching post, with clear evidence of strong pupil outcomes across the sciences
- Show a thorough understanding of the Triple Science GCSE curriculum and confidence teaching across all three disciplines
- Are comfortable and effective within a consistent whole-school behaviour framework
- Are legally entitled to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available and will not be considered
ECT applicants with a strong Science specialism are welcomed provided formal UK teacher training has been completed or is in its final stages.
Salary & Contract
Inner London MPS: £40,317 to £52,300, with UPS up to £62,496. TLR opportunities may be available for candidates with relevant curriculum or enrichment leadership experience within the Science department.
