The Role – 1:1 SEND Specialist LSA

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs

Assist with emotional regulation, communication and confidence‑building

Adapt learning materials and break down tasks to ensure accessibility

Work closely with teachers, SENCo and parents to support progress

Encourage independence, resilience and positive learning habits

Contribute to a safe, secure and encouraging classroom environment
The Ideal 1:1 SEND Specialist LSA

Previous experience working with children with SEND (essential)

Calm, patient and nurturing, with a genuine passion for supporting individual needs
