The Role - As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with special educational needs across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Help students develop confidence, independence, and social skills
  • Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to support student progress

 

The Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
  • Ideal for Psychology graduates, aspiring Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Counsellors, or those considering a career in teaching or SEND support
  • Graduates with relevant experience supporting young people are encouraged to apply
