Primary Teacher (EYFS/KS1) – Music Specialist (Epping Forest) Join the Founding Team of a New Pre‑Preparatory School in Epping Forest for September 2026.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Primary Teacher with a Music specialism to join the founding team of a brand‑new pre‑preparatory school for children aged 3–7. This role is perfect for a Music‑led Primary Teacher who is passionate about early musicianship, rhythm, singing progression and nurturing confident, expressive young learners through a knowledge‑rich curriculum.

As a Primary Teacher with a Music specialism, you will help shape a school built on calm classrooms, strong routines and a deep understanding of child development. You will introduce young pupils to the foundations of Music through singing, movement, percussion, listening skills, early notation and creative exploration, ensuring lessons are structured, joyful and age‑appropriate within a beautifully designed environment.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from a Primary Teacher with a Music specialism who:

  • Holds QTS with a strong academic background (Music, Music Education or related field preferred)

  • Has experience in EYFS/KS1 or pre‑preparatory settings (essential), or is an ECT with strong academics

  • Understands early child development and the foundations of early musicianship

  • Values clarity, structure and joyful, knowledge‑rich teaching

  • Brings warmth, creativity and professionalism

  • Is excited to help build a new school community from the ground up
