Primary Teaching Assistant (EYFS / KS1 / KS2) | Outstanding All-Through School | Hounslow

An exceptional all-through school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join their Primary Phase from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside outstanding practitioners, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, whilst developing the skills, knowledge and experience required for a successful career in education.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teaching and learning within the classroom to help all pupils achieve success.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support pupils' academic and personal development.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, sharing updates with teaching staff.
• Prepare learning resources and organise classroom materials.
• Support children during playtimes and lunchtimes, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Contribute to a culture of high expectations and outstanding outcomes for all children.

Ideal Candidate

• A graduate with a strong academic background.
• Passionate about education and improving outcomes for young people.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Reflective, proactive and eager to learn.
• Aspiring Primary Teachers, Educational Psychologists and SEN professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.

Contract Details

• September 2026 start
• Full-time position
• One-year fixed-term contract
• Inner London salary, dependent on experience
• Based in Hounslow with excellent transport links from across London
