Weekly Pay: £588.37 | Term-Time Only

This role is ideal for a motivated Theology or Philosophy graduate looking to gain invaluable experience supporting A-Level students in a thriving academic environment before progressing into teacher training or a career in education.

Your responsibilities as a Theology Graduate Teaching Assistant:

• Support students in A-Level Religious Studies through classroom assistance, intervention sessions, and one-to-one academic mentoring.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resource creation, and assessment activities.
• Provide targeted support to students requiring additional guidance with theological concepts, philosophical arguments, and essay-writing techniques.
• Contribute to the wider Humanities department, assisting across related subjects where required.
• Help foster a positive learning environment and support students in their academic and personal development.

Essential requirements:

• A First-Class or 2:1 degree in Theology, Philosophy, Religious Studies, or a closely related Humanities subject from a leading UK university.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence working with students aged 16–19 in both group and individual settings.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning across the Humanities curriculum.
