Your responsibilities as a Theology Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- Support students in A-Level Religious Studies through classroom assistance, intervention sessions, and one-to-one academic mentoring.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resource creation, and assessment activities.
- Provide targeted support to students requiring additional guidance with theological concepts, philosophical arguments, and essay-writing techniques.
- Contribute to the wider Humanities department, assisting across related subjects where required.
- Help foster a positive learning environment and support students in their academic and personal development.
Essential requirements:
- A First-Class or 2:1 degree in Theology, Philosophy, Religious Studies, or a closely related Humanities subject from a leading UK university.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence working with students aged 16–19 in both group and individual settings.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning across the Humanities curriculum.
