Autism Support Assistant – Camden – September 2026

Are you an experienced and compassionate Autism Support Assistant seeking a full-time role in Camden? Join a welcoming two-form entry primary school with a specialist autism resource provision supporting children aged 3–11.

  • Support pupils through individualised programmes linked to communication, interaction, sensory regulation and academic development.

  • As an Autism Support Assistant, you will provide one-to-one and small-group support while helping pupils access an adapted National Curriculum.

  • The Autism Support Assistant must confidently use visual resources, structured routines and positive behaviour strategies.

  • Successful Autism Support Assistant candidates will be patient, proactive and comfortable supporting children with complex needs.

  • Autism Support Assistant applicants should have previous experience supporting children with autism or significant SEND.

  • Psychology, Education, Speech and Language, or related graduates are encouraged to apply.
