A well-regarded secondary school in Hackney is seeking a STEM Graduate to join their team immediately on a full-time basis.

The school has a strong focus on Mathematics and Science, providing graduates with meaningful opportunities to support students across KS3 and GCSE-level learning. You will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff while developing valuable classroom and intervention experience.

The Role
As a STEM Graduate, you will provide 1:1 and small-group intervention support in Maths and Science up to GCSE level, helping students address gaps in subject knowledge, prepare for assessments and build confidence.
You will also provide dedicated SEND support to students who require additional assistance accessing the curriculum. This may include adapting tasks, reinforcing instructions, supporting concentration and organisation, and helping students engage positively within mainstream lessons.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics, Science, Engineering or a related STEM subject from a leading UK university
- Has previous child-centred experience through tutoring, mentoring, coaching or youth work
- Strong academic knowledge to GCSE level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine interest in supporting young people and students with SEND
