SEMH Teaching Assistant – The Role

• Providing pastoral support, guidance and encouragement to students
• Assisting with the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the school
• Supporting students to develop positive behaviour, emotional regulation, confidence and self-esteem
• SEMH Teaching Assistant providing 1:1 support

SEMH Teaching Assistant – You Will

• A strong understanding of social, emotional and mental health needs
• Strong behaviour management and relationship building kills
• The ability to remain calm, patient and professional in challenging situations

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
