SEN Teaching Assistant | Southwark

Are you looking to build your experience supporting pupils with additional needs within a Southwark primary or secondary school? This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity would suit someone who is patient, proactive and genuinely interested in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and the wider SEN team to provide targeted support to pupils who require additional help with their learning, communication, behaviour or development. The role offers valuable experience for graduates and aspiring teachers looking to develop their understanding of SEND provision.

Full Academic Year | £500–£550 per week

  • Have a genuine interest in SEND and inclusive education.
  • Be patient, consistent and approachable.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be confident supporting pupils who may require additional structure or encouragement.
  • Be able to build positive professional relationships with pupils.
