Maths Teacher – Harrow – January 2027 or ASAP

This Maths Teacher role is based at a high-performing Catholic secondary school and sixth form in Harrow. The current Maths department is in need of an additional Maths Teacher to support timetable demand, maintain consistency and contribute to strong outcomes across the school.

Maths Teacher | The Role

• Join a busy and established Maths department
• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver well-structured lessons in line with the department’s curriculum
• Support pupils with confidence, numeracy, problem-solving and exam preparation
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and progress
• Work closely with Maths colleagues to ensure consistency across classes
• Contribute to a calm, ambitious and values-led school environment

Maths Teacher | Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Maths Teacher with QTS preferred
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Maths
• Previous secondary Maths teaching experience
• Confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management
• Able to commit to a long-term cover role from January 2027 or sooner
• Professional, reliable and able to support the Catholic ethos of the school

This Maths Teacher role would suit a capable classroom teacher who can step into a department, teach confidently and provide much-needed stability across the Maths timetable.
