SEMH Teaching Assistant – The Role
- Work directly with vulnerable students, developing effective coping mechanisms
- A SEMH Teaching Assistant who will act an as advocate for students
- Keep track of students’ progress, clearly showcasing how targeted interventions are helping students succeed
- Build positive, trusting and supportive relationships with students with SEMH needs
- Contribute to the continual development of SEMH practice across the school
The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant will:
- Obtained a First-Class degree from a top UK University
- An empathetic and resilient SEHM Teaching Assistant
- Have a background in mentoring and supporting students with mental health needs
